THE AMA COLD PLUNGE
The Power of Cold. Handcrafted with stainless steel interiors and cedar or thermowood exteriors, each plunge is a modern vessel of resilience. Designed for presence and purification, our cold plunge calms the nervous system, reduces inflammation, and invites mental clarity. AMA Chiller comes with dual heating and cooling functionality that allows you to chill down to 37°F or warm up to 104°F, all easily managed through a Wi-Fi–enabled control panel that puts temperature at your fingertips, wherever you are. THE RITUAL, PRACTICED
sauna
15-30 minutes at 158-212°F (70–100°C). This range allows the body to fully enter a state of hormetic stress. The first 10 minutes ease the body into warmth. The next 10–20 create transformation. At temperatures above 158°F, the body enters mild hyperthermia, triggering heat shock proteins and activating key stress-adaptive systems.
cold plunge
2-10 minutes at 50–59°F (10–15°C). Just two minutes initiates vasoconstriction, dopamine release, and a nervous system reset. Extending to 5 or 10 minutes builds resilience and trains the stress response. Below 60°F, brown fat activates, metabolism increases, and dopamine can surge up to 250%.
Contrast
Repetition matters. Three to five rounds optimize vascular response, train the nervous system, and support deeper adaptation—without overstressing the body.
